About Our Chapter
Alpha Kappa Psi is a professional coed fraternity open to all majors, built around helping its members grow and succeed. With an emphasis on professional development, our chapter aims to help each and every one of its members achieve further personal and career success.
We offer many events for developing your personal and professional skills, building bonds with your fellow brothers, and developing and expanding your network. In addition to all the events, there are many opportunities to assume leadership positions with varying degrees of responsibility.

1. What is the time commitment to join?
At a minimum, there is about an hour or so a week for active members, with a few hours for pledges.
However, with many opportunities for involvement weekly, the upper limit is nearly as high as you make it!
2. What are the differences between a pledge and an active member?
Before becoming a fully active member, individuals must first go through the pledge program, which is a sort of introductory program to get potential full members acquainted with Alpha Kappa Psi and all the other members. Once the program is completed, pledges become full members for the last few weeks of the semester, and all the semesters after that that they remain in the fraternity.
3. What does an average meeting look like?
The average chapter meeting takes place at a set location on campus and might primarily feature a professional development event, group bonding activity, or chapter-related discussion. After the main event, we will go over upcoming affairs and various announcements. Chapter meetings are simple, quick, and usually, involve great opportunities for personal and professional improvement!
4. What benefits come with joining?
You get tons of opportunities for professional development, leadership experiences, networking, and job discovery. In addition to all the benefits expected from a professional fraternity, you will also find a group of likeminded individuals who are excited to support your professional journey.
5. How expensive is it compared to other professional fraternities?
Our chapter has the cheapest dues out of any chapter in the nation! The semester dues for full members are only $110.
